Preferred Cleansing Regimen

Directions for Use

The warm compress. Apply a warm compress such as a washcloth soaked in very warm water to closed eyes for several minutes before cleansing. This is esssential to loosen eyelid debris and other residue and to soothe the area around the eye.
The lather. Wet, but do not saturate an EYE•SCRUB Cleansing Pad with EYE•SCRUB Cleanser, fold the pad over and rub between thumb and forefinger to work up a lather. EYE•SCRUB's special formula creates a unique microbubble lather which helps gently loosen debris.
The cleansing. In front of a well illuminated mirror, expose the lower eyelid edge by pulling the skin down with your finger. Rub the pad several times along the lid at the base where the lashes grow out. Be careful not to rub the surface of the eye. Next, using your finger, pull the upper lid towards the brow and away from the eye surface. Repeat the process on the upper lid edge at the base of the lashes, again being careful not to rub the eye surface. Close the eye and rub the pad vigorously across the eyelashes several times. Open the eye, discard the pad and leave the lather on the area you cleaned. Repeat the process on the other eye using a fresh EYE•SCRUB Cleansing Pad.
The rinse. Thoroughly rinse both eyes with clean, warm water and pat dry.

Alternate Cleansing Regimen

Directions for Use

A cotton tipped applicator may be used in place of EYE•SCRUB Cleansing Pads.

When using the cotton tipped applicator, place a few drops of EYE•SCRUB Sterile Eyelid Cleanser on the padding and keep massaging it with your fingers until a lather forms. Then follow procedure for Preferred Cleansing Regimen.

Better than Baby Shampoos. EYE•SCRUB is better and safer than baby hair shampoos. These shampoos are made with chemicals designed specifically for the hair and scalp, not for use around your eyes. Hair shampoos can contain dyes, oils, perfumes and preservatives which further irritate and aggravate already sensitive eyelid tissue. EYE•SCRUB is created especially for use around your eyes. It does not contain dyes, oils or perfumes. It is pH balanced and non-irritating.

Cleanser Ingredients:

Purified water USP, PEG-200 Glyceryl Tallowate, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropylamine Oxide, PEG-80 Glyceryl Cocoate, Benzyl Alcohol and Edetate Disodium.

Ready to use, needs no diluting. For External use only. Do Not Use Directly in The Eye.

CAUTION

Do not use if you have known allergies to any of the ingredients. If discomforting irritation or excessive dryness occurs, reduce frequency of use. If excessive itching, redness, swelling or irritation persists, discontinue use and consult your eye healthcare professional.
